Woke up very early, meeting Daryl, Ernest, Jue Hua, Zheng Yu, Kenneth, Edwin for some morning grocery. Walked around Punggol plaza to see what we can get for steamboat. Ended up we bought pork, chicken & beef. No fish no prawn due to low demand. But i guess we had too much carbo, because we bought Kway tiao, Udon, dong fen & rice.Spend 2-3hrd preparing the stuff while the rest of them playing cards/mj/computer in my room. I washed/cut the vege, peel/cut the corn, wash/cut the pork liver, prepare the soup and etc etc. Only Daryl helped out, then the rest are playing in my room. So tiring @#$%^&*(Halfway thru, Zheng Yu needs to go home cuz of tuition. Everyone started w/o him, was quite fun. Cooking, chatting, shouting, joking around. But the clearing up part was damn lek che. Seriously i washed until my backache. Seriously damn tiring, and i believe this will be my first and last time steamboating at home, unless got pple help me to pack etc etc. End of the day, i prefer bbq-ing. Easier to pack and prepare also, and i'm craving for bbq :x
