Has been years since i last participate in a Mid Autumn Festival. The last one i went to was some Teo Chew Clan Mid Autumn Festival, where u sit there sing song talk crap play mahjong. Eat moon cake, look at Ah Peh Ah Uh singing songs from the 60s 70s & 80s.
This time round, slightly different from the previous years. Did what i did when i was in Pri or Sec school. In fact i couldn't remember myself doing this back in St Patrick. Nostalgic, it really was. Brings back all the fun memories i had when i was a kid. Burning candle, burning my lantern, leaving all the wax mark around the neighbourhood.
Of course as i grow up, i tend to become more socially responsible (i guess). I cleaned up my mess after all the mess i had created. So everyone please remember one thing, clean up your own mess. In NS, my supervisor always tell us this, you know how to clean ur backside after u pang sai so clear ur own wax after u burn candle. That applies to every where.
